New Delhi: Indian Gooseberry which is also known as Amla. It is partially attributed to its high vitamin C content. It helps in to escalate immune system, slowing down aging, reducing blood sugar etc; Amla is used as Ayurvedic Medicines. Both he dried and fresh fruits of amla are used for medicinal purpose. Amla act as a diuretic agent, therefore increase food absorption, nourishing the brain and consolidate the liver. Instead of its many advantages, consuming amla in excess level has various side effects.
According to Ayurvedic practitioners, Amla cannot be safe for people in certain health conditions, such as people have lower hemoglobin levels or any type of anticoagulant medicines.

Amla is great source of antioxidants and its hepatoprotective activity is beneficial in treating liver problems. If you are consuming any kind of Ayurvedic formulation that uses amla as component, there is some sort of chance of liver problems due to the increased level of a liver enzyme called Serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT).

If someone is going through from hypertension and renal disorders, they should avoid taking amla as pickles due to presence of salt in pickles. Eating salt escalate the quantity of sodium into the blood stream, which reduce the Kidney’s ability to remove water.
